Wrexham goalkeeper Ben Foster has revealed that Ryan Reynolds and co-owner Rob McIlhenney have promised a "monster" promotion party should the Welsh club be promoted to the EFL.

Currently sitting top of the National League table, Wrexham can go four points clear of title rivals Notts County with just two games to go if they beat relegation-battling Yeovil Town on Tuesday. While the job isn't finished yet, Foster has hinted at Reynolds and McIlhenney's plans if Phil Parkinson 's side return to England's fourth tier for the first time since 2008.

Foster was hero of Easter Monday's seismic 3-2 win at home to Notts County, saving an added-time penalty, and was asked by CBS Sports this week whether the Hollywood owners threw him and his team-mates a party to celebrate. "No, they didn't! They've promised us a big deal, though, at the end of the season," the ex- Manchester United, West Brom and Watford goalkeeper revealed.

"They've promised us a monster one at the end of the season. If we get promoted, they're gonna take us away somewhere with a lot of flashing lights," Foster added as a presenter shouted back: "Vegas!"

Victory over Yeovil on home soil would put Wrexham a single win away from securing promotion, with only one team going up automatically and the six sides directly below battling it out for the second berth in the play-offs. Foster and co notably dropped points last time out, slumping to a 0-0 draw at Barnet, having been reduced to 10 men early in the second half.

It means that Notts County are only one point behind the Red Dragons and boast a superior goal difference, having beaten play-off contenders Woking 3-0 on Saturday evening to remind Wrexham that they won't lie down. The weekend's results only make it a bigger match at the Racecourse Ground on Tuesday, with boss Parkinson warning his players of the threat Yeovil pose.

"They were 2-0 down at half time against Solihull and came back," the Wrexham manager noted pre-match. "They're having a tough time at the bottom but we've got to concentrate on what we need to do and that's what we'll be doing. We were pleased with the point (at Barnet) with all things considered. We're now looking to build on it on Tuesday night."

Despite being shown a red card in Saturday's fiery 0-0 draw, Parkinson will be on the touchline. A club spokesperson explained: " Phil Parkinson's red card is not an automatic ban so he will definitely be on the touchline for the Yeovil game. No date has been set for a review by the FAW yet."

Six points from their final three games is all that Wrexham need, with the champagne still on ice.
