Mrs Hinch fans hail hero powder for getting white shirts glowing again

When white T-shirts get older and worn out they can be a menace to clean and get back to their original bright colour.

But, thankfully, fans of the cleaning sensation Mrs Hinch, real name Sophie Hinchliffe, have revealed their top hack for getting white tees glowing again with one simple ingredient.

Mrs Hinch is an online cleaning influencer with a following of over four million people, and fans of hers often share their own tidying and cleaning tips in the Cleaning Tips Facebook page.

And a recent post unearthed a nifty hack from some of her fans which will help get any nasty stains out of white T-shirts.

In the post, a woman asked: "How do people get T-shirts white again?"

Within a few minutes, the comments were flooded with tips of what she could do.

There was one simple product which appeared to be the favourite among the cleaning tricksters - and that was Napisan.

This is a great item which can be used to remove stains when used in a wash - and it won't hit the bank too much at all as an 800g pack will only set you back £4.20 from Tesco.

One person said: "Soak in Napisan and wash."

While another agreed: "Napisan is amazing even gets the grass stains out of cricket whites."

A third penned: "Napisan in the barrel."

That was not the only advice that the cleaning tipsters gave as others felt different products would be better suited to the situation.

"Sterilising tablet in a hot wash works wonders and I've been doing it for years. Bed linen, towels baby grows the lot always come out bright," somebody else noted.

"Every time you wash your whites keep using vanish oxy powder keeps them lovely and white," another commented.

"Ace bleach for whites. Also Spanish tablets called 'Blanco Puntomatic' are absolutely fantastic and got my son's top back bright white again," stated somebody else.
