The Indianapolis Colts are zeroing in one quarterback in particular in this years NFL Draft, according to reports, meaning that after starting five different quarterbacks in the last five years, the Colts are now finally looking like they've found their man.

Over the last three years, the Colts have opted to not go down the draft route, instead signing four veterans after Andrew Luck retired. But after Jacoby Brissett, Philip Rivers, Carson Wentz and Matt Ryan all failed to make it work with the Colts, the franchise decided to look elsewhere.

This years NFL Draft features four prospects who many believe to be worthy of the top overall selection, with Alabama’s Bryce Young, Kentucky’s Will Levis, Ohio State’s CJ Stroud and Florida’s Anthony Richardson all receiving rave reviews from either workouts or interview processes.

Young and Stroud are being heavily projected to be drafted with the first two picks to the Carolina Panthers and Houston Texans, with the Cardinals currently holding the third overall draft pick.

The Cards will not be drafting a quarterback, and while they could trade down with a team looking to move up to acquire a quarterback - that might not affect the Colts plans.

With the fourth pick, the Colts are likely to have their choice of Richardson and Levis. And while many see Richardson as the prospect with the highest ceiling, the team reportedly see Levis as their guy.

A source told ESPN analyst Matt Miller that the Colts have Levis higher up on their draft board than Richardson, and hope to select him with their pick - highlighting him as the more 'NFL ready' prospect.

Levis put together a truly incredible season in his first year in Kentucky in 2021, having been coached by Liam Coen in an NFL-style offense, with the coach then using the same playbook to coach the Los Angeles Rams this past season.

The 23-year-old went 7-4 last season, throwing 19 touchdowns in the 11 games he started for Kentucky.
