Holly Willoughby has been celebrating her birthday today and a host of showbiz pals have shared well wishes over it.
The presenter, now 42, took to Instagram earlier to mark the occasion, sharing a photo of herself holding a bunch of flowers. Birthday balloons were visible in the background.
She was seen beaming in the selfie and expressed gratitude to those who had reached out to her, writing in the caption: "It's my birthday! Thank you for all your kind wishes."
"What a beautiful day. The best birthday gift of glorious blue skies and sunshine with a healthy side/slab of cake," she continued. Holly concluded by writing: "Hugest love H x".

The sponge cake featured butter icing and had been decorated with a rainbow, stars and several moons. It also included plenty of sprinkles and a 'happy birthday' sign.
Holly said: "Look at that! That has got so much butter icing on it, which is exactly what I love. Thank you very much. I'm getting to that age now where I'm forgetting how old I am".

Celebrity pals have shared birthday wishes today, including her presenting partner Phillip Schofield, 60. Alongside a selfie of them together, he wrote: "Happy happy birthday gorgeous. Hope you have the best day".
Several of her other colleagues from This Morning have also marked the occasion. This included pal Alison Hammond, 48, who shared a photo and wrote: "Happy birthday".
