Police boss 'sexually assaulted underling and sought threesomes' lawsuit alleges
A married police boss accused of sexually assaulting his co-worker girlfriend "threatened to throw her under a train" if the affair was revealed, a lawsuit claims.
Single mum-of-two Ammy Ventura, 40, worked in New York Police Department's property division handling case evidence when she was allegedly hit on by her lieutenant supervisor Wilder Lucas, 41, in February 2021, it is alleged in documents filed in a Manhattan Supreme Court lawsuit on Tuesday.
Mr Lucas, who was reportedly going through a divorce at the time, struck up a friendship with the mum and allegedly started dating her in April 2021 after she believed he was single.
However, the pair split up in September after Ms Lucas alleged the police boss "insisted" she gave him oral sex in May 22 and allegedly shouted “Shut the f**k up!” when she refused, according to the court documents.
During another incident it was alleged Mr Lucas invited his girlfriend on a trip to Dominican Republic but after they landed she discovered he had brought three other women.

When he allegedly demanded a threesome, which she rejected, he ignored her, the filling alleges.
On the island Mr Lucas allegedly told Ms Ventura to leave him alone and called her “f***ing annoying", according to the lawsuit.
And just weeks after the trip he allegedly refused to talk to her.
“I can’t talk, I am a married man,” Mr Lucas allegedly told her.

It was allegedly “against her will,” but Ms Ventura felt “paralysed and completely powerless to stop the violent attack", it is claimed.
The police chief allegedly never “attempted to explain his behaviour towards her” as he “openly enjoys" making her uncomfortable and knew his seniority meant she couldn't do anything about his behaviour, it is alleged.
And towards the end of 2022 when a worker higher up found out the pair were sleeping together, Mr Lucas allegedly warned her to never speak about the affair.
The suit claims he told her "I’ll f***ing kill you” and threatened to “push [her] in front of a train.”
MS Ventura’s lawyer, John Scola, claimed to The New York Post: “My client was treated with contempt as a sexual object, harassed, sexually assaulted, and had her life threatened repeatedly at work by her supervisor who felt he could act with impunity due to his position.”

He then allegedly told her to delete all text messages and photos of the pair together from her phone which she did "out of fear of her life."
The lawsuit claims: "As a single mother, [Ventura] lives in constant fear of her financial situation deteriorating as a result of Defendant Lucas’ threats that he could terminate her employment given his position."
She is suing Mr Lucas and the city for unspecified damages under claims of sexual harassment and discrimination.
New York Police Department said in a statement: “Sexual discrimination is prohibited by federal, state, and city laws as well as Department policies, and the NYPD takes seriously all accusations of such behaviour.
“The NYPD thoroughly investigates all complaints it receives, and offers several reporting options for NYPD employees, including anonymously.
“The Department does not tolerate discrimination in any form and is committed to respectful work environments for our diverse workforce,” the representative said, adding that the department couldn’t comment further as the case is pending."
