Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced their engagement to the world seven years ago - but a lot has changed since then. This includes the ring the Duke of Sussex used to propose after originally popping the question with a two diamond ring.
One of the precious stones came from his mum Princess Diana's collection and one from Botswana, where he does a lot of charity work. However, new photos of Meghan's ring show it has changed significantly, now with the diamonds sitting in a much thinner micropavé band instead of its original thick gold band.

She wears her engagement ring along side her wedding ring, made from Welsh gold as is traditional for royal women, and a new ring which is believed to be a first anniversary or 'push present' from Harry.
But she isn't the only royal to redesign jewellery as Queen Consort Camilla and the Princess of Wales have been known to change pieces from the family's collection to make them more modern.

Kate is often seen wearing a stunning pair of sapphire drop earrings, which originally belonged to Princess Diana, but Prince William gave them to Kate as a present back in 2012.
The earrings match the engagement ring both royal women wore, featuring a large sapphire surrounded by diamonds.

She first wore them when she and William watched Andy Murray from the Royal Box at Wimbledon in 2012.
She's worn them a numerous occasions since, including at an event during their Royal Tour of Canada.
The earrings were among Diana's most treasured jewels. She wore them at dozens of events in the 1980s and 1990s.
Queen Consort Camilla also wears a brooch that was once a necklace worn by Diana.
The Queen Mother gave Diana the necklace, which features a number of diamonds with a emerald, on her wedding day.
It is thought to have cost £3,900,000, and Diana wore it on a state visit to Austria in 1986.
However after her death the piece was given back to the Royal Family, and it's believed King Charles then passed it on as a gift to his second wife Camilla.

It has now been redesigned, although it's not clear whether King Charles or Camilla made the changes, and the Queen Consort wears it as a brooch.
