Bartender shares how to get served immediately - but hack sparks furious debate
A barman has told drinkers the best way not to be ignored but is hasn't gone down well with everyone.
Michigan-based mixologist Roman has been offering advice to those who feel like they're forever waiting to get served.
He accepts staff often do shun certain customers - and also have their favourites.
Roman told his 12,000 TikTok followers that the best way to get your drinks fast is to be a good tipper.
He warned that if you don't offer a gratuity, you're essentially blacklisted.

That means you could be waiting quite a while - especially when things get busy.

Roman said: "When you don't tip, we tell the other bartenders who's not tipping so we don't go to you.
"I'm not saying that you have to tip a lot, but you tip at least 10 per cent, we'll come to you.
"You tip 20 per cent or more, we're going to make sure we get to you.
"If you tip more than 50 per cent I will RKO [knock out] whoever the f*** is in front of you and make sure you get served. How's that sound?"
But his comments reignited the debate over tipping.
Many places still pay their staff a low wage, relying on customers to top up their pay packets when it comes to settling the bill.
One follower told Roman: "This is why I don't eat out. Your employer should pay a living wage like mine does, I shouldn't have to pay exorbitant prices for food and a wage."
