Liverpool may have endured one of their most miserable seasons to date under Jurgen Klopp thus far, but they can hold their heads high after Sunday's draw with Arsenal.
After a dreadful start, the Reds overturned a two-goal deficit to draw level courtesy of a Mohamed Salah strike and Roberto Firmino header. In truth, Liverpool could and should have taken all three points, had it not been for some remarkable goalkeeping from Aaron Ramsdale.
As a result, Klopp can use the second-half display as a foundation for the rest of the season and encourage his underperforming stars that they can still compete with the very best in the league. With 10 games to play, the Reds are nine points adrift of fourth-placed Tottenham.
However, they have played one game less and still have to welcome Spurs to Anfield later this month.

Firmino's meeting with Jesus

The pair were filmed arm-in-arm chatting as other players shook hands at the end the game before they eventually continud their chat together in the Anfield tunnel.
It has since emerged that the duo engaged in a shirt swap, as seen in sweet footage that also shows another Brazilian in Martinelli stop for a quick chat with the veteran Liverpool forward.

Klopp's Bellingham alternative

As a result, the Reds have a number of other midfielders on their radar, including Bristol City youngster Alex Scott.
The 19-year-old has been a regular starter in the Championship for the last two years and has attracted interest from a number of Premier League sides.
As per The Daily Mail, Liverpool's head of recruitment Dave Fallows and chief scout Barry Hunter both attended England Under 20s 2-0 win over Germany last month to watch Scott in action.

Carragher, who came up against Ferdinand and Vidic during his Liverpool days, claimed current Reds defender Virgil van Dijk is "far better" than the Serbian.
"I see Jamie Carragher tweeted something about Van Dijk being better than Vidic," Ferdinand replied on his Five YouTube channel. "I think [Fernando] Torres scored three goals in 15 games against Vidic.
"I think it's a bit of a myth, he had a couple of dodgy moments in those games and he got sent off a couple of times but that's been amplified into saying he got tortured every time he played against Torres which wasn't the case.
"[Marcus] Rashford's got six goals in 13 games against Liverpool, does that mean he's tortured Van Dijk?"
