'My parents' neighbours keep blocking their car on drive - I'm absolutely livid'
A woman is seeking advice on behalf of her elderly parents - who speak limited English - after their neighbours have started parking on their driveway without permission and they're struggling to reason with them.
The anonymous Reddit user, from Canada, claims that the renters of the property are blocking her parent's vehicles on their own drive - but no amount of reasoning will make them stop.
Taking to popular forum site Reddit, the concerned woman explained: "I don't live with my parents, they are in their 60s. They don't speak English very well, and they live in a subdivision outside of Toronto."

"They have four parking spaces, and that is not enough for them. Their one extra car is parked on their lawn, their other car is usually parked on the street right in front of my parent's house instead of their own. There is no authorised street parking.

"But my parents dealt with that for years, they didn't want to start any trouble.
"Recently, these neighbours began parking on my parent's actual driveway. Multiple times they have blocked my parent's vehicles inside the garage from getting out.
"Last night, again, for the fifth time recently, they parked on their driveway. I am absolutely livid. They are only doing this to my parents on this whole street."
Seeking advice on 'legal options' for revenge, the woman listed possible options - from having their car towed, wheel locking their vehicle, or letting all of their tires deflated.
Questioning further, she wrote: "Anything else? I called the police non-emergency line, and it wasn't something within their jurisdiction. The city was closed for Easter Monday today.
"I live 50 minutes away from my parents and it is very hard for me to help them instantly every time," she added.
Since sharing her thread, the woman's post has raked in over 80 comments to date - where people shared their opinions on how to proceed.
One person wrote: "Get them towed. Don't deflate the tires, that would be mischief."
Someone else warned: "Whatever you decide to do, the first thing to keep in mind is the safety of your parents.
"They are obviously not dealing with upstanding members of society so make sure they are safe at all times. All the best," they added.
