Sarah Ferguson is set to produce a film starring Elvis Presley’s actress granddaughter, Riley Keough.
The Duchess of York, 63, co-founded Paris-based movie company Vestapol Films last year and was good friends with Riley’s late mother, Lisa Marie Presley.
Fergie, who was a producer on acclaimed 2009 film The Young Victoria, has been spending a lot of time in the US to reinvent herself as an author and promote her latest novel, A Most Intriguing Lady.
A source said: “Shortly before Lisa’s death, she spoke to the Duchess about the idea of collaborating with Riley on a movie, perhaps based on the Duchess’s novels or her own life story.
Sarah Ferguson appeared on Loose Women earlier this week (ITV)“The Duchess is determined to be there for Lisa Marie’s children and support them in any way she can.”
