Miami Dolphins superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill has admitted that he will retire after finishing out his current contract with the team.
The 29-year-old speedster is rightly seen as one of the most exciting players in the league, being one of the great deep threats at the receiver position in NFL history - consistently scoring some huge touchdowns year-on-year. In the midst of his prime though, Hill has confirmed that he plans to retire at the age of just 32 - giving him just three more seasons in the league, seeing out his deal with the Dolphins.
Speaking on the Totally Offensive podcast, Hill was given the question on the future of his career. He said: "I'm going for 10. I'm going to finish out this contract with the Dolphins and then I'm going to call it quits."
Hill had the best season of his career after being traded away from Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs, joining the Dolphins, where he set a franchise-record in receptions (119) and receiving yards (1,710) in a season.
The receiver continues to show unparalleled speed at the position - bursting away from defensive players on regular occasions, while also being recognised as one of the better route-runners in the league, too.

That pedigree, along with his clear dedication to the sport could see him prolong his career for years to come. However, it appears that Hill is set to retire in 2025, already having plans for his future.

"I'm using my platform to create a gaming team, which isn't launched yet. It should launch by the end of this month. I'm going to just sign different content creators, different athletes. I just been working that, talking to different sponsors. I want to do so many things in my life."
Hill left the Chiefs after the 2021 season with the team not agreeing to meet his contract demands, before the Dolphins traded a first and second round pick to acquire him, before giving him a four-year, $120 million extension to make him the highest-paid wide receiver in NFL history.
The wide receiver has been full of praise for his new teammates, and specifically quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, who had his best season in the league with Hill on the team.
