The porn star at the centre of Donald Trump’s indictment by a grand jury claims she’s been bombarded with death threats by his supporters.

But Stormy Daniels says one thing she won’t fear if she has to give evidence in court is facing the ex-President himself.

“I’ve seen him naked. There’s no way he could be scarier with his clothes on,” she said.

Trump, 76, is set to become the first US president to face criminal charges at a New York court on Tuesday.

The charges have not yet been made public but involve an investigation into a $130,000 hush-hush payment via a Trump lawyer to Daniels ahead of the 2016 election. Daniels, 44, claims to have had sex with the tycoon in 2006 – an allegation denied by the ex-president although he admits the payout. He is expected to face more than 30 charges relating to document fraud.

Daniels – real name Stephanie Clifford – claims she began to receive violence threats across “all social media platforms, and email, and phone” within hours of Trump’s indictment on Thursday. She said the number of threats and intensity were like the “first time around” when claims of an affair between her and Trump broke in 2018.

“This time it’s straight-up violent,” she told The Times. “The first time it was ‘gold digger’, ‘slut’, ‘whore’, ‘liar’. This time it’s ‘I’m gonna murder you’. They’re way more violent and graphic.”

Daniels said “for the first time ever” she had been shaken up. “And part of me is hesitant to say that because you don’t want blood in the water. It kind of encourages the sharks. It’s especially scary because Trump himself is inciting violence and encouraging it. He’s actually calling for people to do s**t to me.”

She believes Trump supporters are bolder since the storming of the Capitol in January 2021. “I’m not afraid of him, but it just takes one crazy supporter who thinks they’re doing God’s work or protecting democracy.”

The Times said Daniels – who told the Sunday Mirror in a 2018 exclusive interview she’d testify against him– has not been called.

But she said: “I hope I have to. I have nothing to hide and I look forward to telling everybody what I know.” Trump, who denies wrongdoing, announced last year he’ll run for office in 2024. He’s hit out at the judge expected to handle the case, claiming online that he “HATES ME”.
