A lucky fella has won $2 million on the lottery after scooping a cool million just two years ago.

Pharris Frank, said he used his first jackpot to pay for a dream wedding.

His second win will go towards a plush holiday for his wife.

The 41-year-old said: "I called my wife and told her 'I did it again'

Pharris, who comes from Advance, North Carolina, US, won $1 million (£810,060) on the lottery in July 2021.

He explained that he bought his first winning ticket at a local store, but purchased the second one while working out of town on a construction job.

The lucky winner said he bought the $2,000,000 Diamond Dazzler scratchcard at the Handy House store on Arendell Street in Morehead City, North Carolina.

Pharris added: "It's cool because the first time I won it was two miles from my house and this time I was four-and-a-half hours away."

He added: "What are the chances of me being down there at that exact moment in time?

"It's crazy because the day before I won, my buddy was asking me how it felt to win $1 million.

"I told him that I was going to double it."

Despite telling his pal that he would win big again, Pharris admitted it surprised him when it happened a second time.

"I didn't know if I was dreaming or not," he added.

"I was just in shock for a while."

After spending a chunk of his first jackpot on his nuptials, Pharris said he'd use his new $2 million (£1.6 million) prize to take his wife on holiday.

After state and federal tax withholdings, Pharris took home $855,006 (£693,050).
