Gwyneth Paltrow’s accuser, Terry Sanderson, ‘drank excessively’ a doctor has told a trial into a ski crash involving the pair in 2016.
The Goop founder, 50, was sued by Sanderson after the pair collided while skiing in Utah seven years ago.
During the trial, the court heard that Sanderson was consuming a minimum of 10 drinks a week.
Dr Angela Eastvold testified on Wednesday and said that Sanderson had reported to his doctors that he was drinking five to six drinks, two to three times a week. She described this as "drinking excessively".
Eastvold said that if Sanderson did have a 'significant' concussion like he claimed he had, he would have had a "reduced tolerance to alcohol."

The court heard that Sanderson didn't suffer a "significant concussion" following the crash (AP)She testified that he didn't show any signs he had suffered a "significant" concussion, noting that Sanderson did not suffer from dizziness, and showed no signs of "attention deficits" in tests he took after the crash.
She also said that Sanderson's answers to a psychological evaluation show he scored high on 'narcissism' and "may lack empathy". She said other scales showed he was likely to be "overreactive and explosive".
"He's someone that likes attention and needs approval," she said.
Sanderson had been recalled to the witness box to face further questioning from Gwyneth’s defence team.
He accepted that he had gone on multiple foreign trips and attended a party for Cinco de Mayo (May 5) following the incident, with photos taken from his Facebook page used as evidence.

Sanderson also spoke about the effects the court case has had on his life, stating that he has been “exposed” by it and that people no longer see him the same way, describing the situation as “discouraging”.
He further said that the notoriety that came with the trial has affected his chances of having a future romantic relationship, as it is “impossible” to date because “everyone knows too much”.
He went on to say that the exposure that comes with a lawsuit makes it “difficult” to sue a celebrity, as the notoriety is designed to make people regret coming forward.

She said: “I had never seen her shaken up like that and she was very clearly visibly upset and she had some sort of pain… she was in a little bit of pain and I remember that’s why she went to the spa to get a massage.”
In a statement, also read to the court by the legal teams, she said she had heard a “commotion” on the slope before skiing down for lunch, where her mother had been “very upset”.
“(My mother) told us what happened… She came in and I noticed she looked a bit shocked, and I asked what happened and she said ‘this a-hole ran into me, he ran right into my back’”.
