Emmerdale 's Nicky will make a big and life-changing choice next week regarding his romance with Gabby Thomas.
The couple recently began dating in secret, only to be rumbled by Home Farm owner Kim Tate who was less than pleased.
Nicky joined as the new nanny, looking after Gabby's baby son Thomas. The pair mixing business with pleasure continues to leave Kim furious in upcoming scenes.
Now, amid a theory regarding Nicky's true identity, there's a twist in store as new spoilers confirm Nicky proposes to Gabby.
Despite only knowing each other for a matter of months, Nicky pops the question and Gabby immediately says yes.

He said: "Yeah, he seems to have a huge interest in Gabby. He's got his reasons why he wants to be with her which will all come out eventually."
On whether his character was hiding something, he went on: "I think Nicky has got a lot going on, and maybe with it being a soap there is more."
On the fan theories over Nicky having a secret identity, and possibly being linked to another character, he added: "The fan theories have been great.

Fans recently speculated the character was linked to fellow newcomer Caleb Miligan with predictions they are targeting Kim Tate and Home farm.
Other theories included Nicky working for Jamie Tate or Joe Tate in a revenge storyline, with Jamie being the father of Gabby's baby son Thomas.
Fans are convinced the character is up to something and is using Gabby, while the soap has yet to confirm anything.
Bosses did tease in December though that he may have a secret, and not everything may be as it seems.
