Tyson Fury's promoter has revealed emails from Alex Krassyuk which led to the cancellation of his undisputed fight with Oleksandr Usyk.
Fury looked set to face fellow heavyweight champion Usyk looked in a meteoric clash on April 29 after months of negotiations, but the fight has now been cancelled after talks between the two teams broke down. Fury demanded a 70/30 purse split in his favour, which Usyk accepted, before also suggesting neither fighter was granted a rematch clause.
Frank Warren, who represents Fury, detailed emails from Usyk's promoter Krassyuk in which he put an end to negotiations for the undisputed fight. Krassyuk was respectful in the emails and also admitted that Warren did everything in his power to make the undisputed fight for the end of April.
"So we got an email off him on the 21st [of March] late afternoon and I'm going to read it as it says," Warren told iFL TV. "'Gentlemen, hope you are all OK. I am not going into details as well start to blame or point the finger at anyone, but would like to officially announce that team Usyk is out of further negotiations regarding April 29. You guys can put your pencils down and we will speak in the near future.'

"That's the first I heard and was aware this was dead, then the next day on talkSPORT Alex Krassyuk went on and said all his outstanding points. I was asked to go on but I said only if they get him on as well. Alex confirmed on there that he didn't need the 15 minutes because we dealt with all that on Sunday."
Warren has insisted Fury could retire from boxing again after missing out on the fight, insisting he doesn't know what the future holds for the heavyweight champion. The promoter feels Usyk and his team didn't want to fight on April 29 as they are gunning for a bigger payday in Saudi Arabia at the end of the year.

Tyson doesn't want to get until political situations but I'll have a bet with you [Krassyuk] and the loser will put £1million in. So we dealt with that another way.
"Alex said 'Usyk is prepared to become undisputed, the rematch clause was something that was never under discussion. It only became that when Fury went onto Instagram'. We never got to negotiations [for the rematch]. They didn't want it, I think it all changed because they feel the fight can go on in November/December and Saudi Arabia have put up a lot of money for them."
