Tyson Fury has faced backlash from boxing fans after his X-rated rant blaming Oleksandr Usyk for their fight collapse.
The 'Gypsy King' has held extensive talks over an undisputed title fight with Usyk this year, but the showdown has now officially collapsed with the heavyweights abandoning plans to touch gloves in London on April 29. The promoters of both fighters attempted to salvage an agreement this week, but Usyk was left unhappy with Fury's demands so walked away from the negotiating table.
Both fighters appear to have laid the blame on each other's shoulders, with Fury being the first to come out on social media and break his silence following the end of failed talks. He burst into an angry rant in an Instagram video, shouting: "Usyk you little s***house, you proper little s***bag, bog-eyed, gappy-toothed ugly little rat b******.
"You slimy f***er, tried all week to get out of it, begging for a rematch like a little girl. You got your rematch then didn't want to fight you little s***house p*****. Always know p**** you were never man enough to tangle with the Gypsy King, ever in your life you little s***house. You little 14-stone coward, you little s***bag, you rat little b******.
"All your team know it as well, and all the lawyers have the full information you little ugly b******. Fight Dubois at the Copper Box now s***bag and always know that you, and anyone else like you, could never tangle with the Gypsy King you s***house little coward."

Fans have reacted angrily to Fury's claims and have appeared to back Usyk, with one writing: "Do the right thing and vacate the WBC belt, Gypsy Queen!" Another agreed: "He seems to be unwinding before our eyes. Sorry that he's the one representing British boxing currently." Another lashed out: "Is there anyone left that believes anything Fury says?"

One fan blamed both fighters: "Why do they both blame each other, it’s either one or the other, I don’t get why they needed a rematch clause. Usyk fight the guy for f*** sake." However a fan disagreed, responding: Fury wanted the rematch clause. Usyk backs himself to win, but then wants paying as the champ with all four belts. That seems absolutely right. The unified king has to bow to Fury in a rematch? Really?"
Fans continued to support Usyk, with one adding: "Tyson fury is a conman and disgrace to British boxing." Another proposed an alternative fight: "We don't believe you Fury. Now go ahead and fight Wilder again." One fan even compared his offer to Anthony Joshua: "Next week it will be him calling Joshua out offering 70/30 then ending up fighting Ruiz or Charr."
A final fan concluded: "Fury just keeps moving the goalposts, it’s all about money. He knows they’ll get more money in Saudi later in the year which is why he didn’t want it now." For now it appears Fury's clash with Usyk is off and he could have a number of options on the table including a battle with Joe Joyce.
