A woman suffered injuries to her face and legs after being assaulted by a large group of youths outside a supermarket, police have said.
The woman, in her 20s, was hurt when she was confronted around 15 boys and girls in Horninglow Road North, Burton-on-Trent, at around 8pm.
Police are appealing for information about the incident and are reviewing CCTV in the area. Witnesses to the ordeal have been urged to get in touch, reports Birmingham Live.
A police spokesman said: “We are appealing for information after a woman was assaulted by a group of youths in Burton-on-Trent recently.
“She was assaulted by a group of around 15 boys and girls, outside a supermarket at 8pm on Monday (13 March).

“We are currently reviewing CCTV of the area at the time of the assault.
