Bruce Willis' wife gives hopeful update as she looks to future after diagnosis
Bruce Willis' wife Emma Heming has given her followers an update, saying they have "so many things to be grateful for".
The 44-year-old took to her Instagram page to talk to her followers after celebrating her husband's 68th birthday.
This comes after the Die Hard actor was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia.
Bruce celebrated his birthday surrounded by his children, Rumer, 34, Scout, 31, and Tallulah, 29, his daughters with Demi Moore, as well as Mabel, 10, and Evelyn, eight, whom he shares with Emma.
Demi also went to the fun-filled day.

Emma shared a video saying she managed to "pull herself together" for the occasion as well as thanking her followers for their birthday wishes to the actor.

Emma talked about Bruce's diagnoses (instagram/ @emmahemingwillis)She said: "So, we had such a great time celebrating my husband yesterday. He had the best time. He loved his apple pie.
"So we got through that. I pulled myself together. But guess what's tomorrow? It's our wedding anniversary. So I'm sure I'll be feeling all the feels. I will spare you on that. But wait 'til you see that reel."
The former model then went on to say that they have "so many beautiful things and fun things to look forward to".

And then the birth of Demi and Bruce's first grandchild – my step-grandchild – which we're so excited about. So, so many fun things to look forward to. So many things to be grateful for," she added.
Despite being surrounded by family on the special day, Emma admitted that she started the day by crying.
Under a year ago, Bruce retired from acting due his diagnoses of brain disorder aphasia affecting his ability to understand language.

Frontotemporal dementia (FTD) affects the lobes of the brain behind the forehead, which deal with behaviour, problem-solving, planning and emotions.
Despite admitting that the diagnoses had been difficult, the family also said it was a "relief to finally have a clear diagnosis".
