You'd be forgiven for thinking there's only one way to eat a baguette - but foodies have been horrified after spotting a woman's 'monstrous' method.
The unusual approach, which saw the diner bite into the top of her sandwich, has provoked horror online. It even drew criticism from her fiancé, who was the one who took to the internet to reveal her wrongdoing.
In a tongue-in-cheek post to Reddit, the woman's partner wrote: "I'm going to marry a monster who eats a baguette sandwich like this," before revealing the offending baguette.
The image appears to show a homemade lunch with ham and cheese, both of which are clearly visible as the woman took chunks out of the top of the baguette.
Instead of starting at the side of the sandwich, as you might expect, she appeared to munch along the bread.

Baffled, her partner turned to the internet to share their thoughts - but likely ended up with more questions than they started with, as commenters had lots to ask.
When one person quizzed: "Is she working from the inside out? Or is she just planning on giving the seagulls a feast with all that uneaten crust?" they replied: "I'm as puzzled as you are."
Another asked: "Do they play the flute by any chance?" to which the partner quipped: "Harmonica is a closer match. But, no. Not to my awareness. Perhaps, I'm yet to find out."
Meanwhile, someone commented: "That actually looks like it was attacked by an animal," and the post's author agreed: "You are not you when you're hungry."
Someone else wrote: "Is your partner a giant pigeon dressed as a human?" and the lovebird responded: "I asked her, but she only nodded back."
Elsewhere, a different person dubbed the method 'simply unacceptable', and a second found it 'disturbing', but one supportive viewer suggested: "Next time you give her a baguette, stick those corn on the cob holders in the ends."
