A veterinary technician has sparked a debate after revealing the four dog breeds she hates handling at appointments. While trying to avoid offending owners, she explained why she "wouldn't feel sad" if she never crossed paths with the breeds again, as they can be too much to deal with.
In a TikTok video, the vet tech, who is known as @bigstretchy online, revealed the Belgian malinois, otherwise known as the Belgian shepherd, as the first breed on her list. She said: [They are] wicked anxious and pretty neurotic. They are one of those breeds who are prone to aggression but that ties back into anxiety and people not really knowing how to handle a breed like this.
"Most of the time people who get a breed like this are doing so because they want some big strong alpha dog and they usually train it in a language that's not English because they want their dog to be solely responsive to them.
"These dogs also have a wicked high prey drive. Sometimes that prey drive is so high that they can't be around other animals - specifically cats."
Providing a similar reasoning to the next breed on her list, she claims German shepherds can be difficult to handle as they have extremely powerful bites.

Huskies are known for being loud and dramatic (Getty Images)"I am, however, biased because my worst bite, my worst injury, came from a 120lb German Shepherd that almost ripped my arm off," she added.
"I don't weigh a whole lot more than that so it was just not very fun, pretty painful, and I will have that scar forever.
"But besides that, they're just giant f***ing babies which makes my job really difficult. They're just drama kings and queens - you touch them, they scream and act like you're killing them..."
However, she says she has met a number of "pretty mellow German shepherds" who have been relatively easy to handle - but just "can't say that's how they are across the board".
She says the cane corso is the worst breed to handle (Getty Images/EyeEm)Huskies came next on her list, as she claims they're known as being a dramatic breed who are "very loud, very vocal and very hard to touch".
She didn't say too much about huskies before moving on to her final breed - the cane corso.
"This is by far my least favourite dog breed to handle. Period," she said. "The worst injury or attack I've ever been witness to was from a cane corso. Thankfully I don't see them that often though!"
After sharing her thoughts online, she was inundated with messages from owners claiming she's "wrong" and "doesn't know what she's talking about".
In response, she said: "Some of y’all are way too triggered to be this online… go outside. Interact with someone who cares because it ain’t me, babes."
Commenting on her video, one user said: "As a German shepherd owner, I am well aware vets don't like when I bring him in. He is, absolutely, a big baby."

Another user added: "Note how pitbulls weren't even on the list. I don't have one. I've been attacked by one. But they are unreasonably persecuted."
A third user said: "I knew corso was gonna be on this list which makes me sad because my corso is the sweetest but they are definitely a scary breed!"
One more user added: "I have two corsos because my first corso is so gentle and sweet. My second corso is a walking lawsuit. I love her but she does not make life easy."
