Nicola Peltz shares Brooklyn's panicked wedding texts as he feared being jilted
Nicola Peltz has revealed husband Brooklyn Beckham was “panicking” on the morning of their wedding after fearing she would be a no show.
The Chippendales actress said the aspiring chef kept texting her to see if she was going to walk down the aisle after she kept him waiting.
But Nicola shared she never got cold feet – she was just too busy having her picture taken in her Valentino wedding dress.
“Our one night apart last year was the night before the wedding,” she said in an interview with the US Cosmopolitan magazine.
“We were panicking. He was texting me the day of the wedding asking ‘Are you walking down the aisle? Are you walking down the aisle?”

Nicola and Brooklyn tied the knot last year (Instagram)After getting waylaid taking snaps, Nicola said she eventually checked her phone and realised how late she was.
She added: “I was like, ‘I have to go walk down the aisle’. Brooklyn had texted, ‘What are you doing? Are you ready?’ I was like ‘Yes, I’m going to walk down. Don’t worry. I love you.”
Nicola and Brooklyn tied the knot on April 9, 2022, in a lavish ceremony at Nicola’s parents Palm Beach mansion, so are about to celebrate their first wedding anniversary.
The star-studded affair, which reportedly cost $3 million (£2.3m), was attended by Brooklyn’s parents, David and Victoria Beckham, Gordon Ramsay, Eva Longoria and Serena and Venus Williams.
Hopes of a Spice Girls reunion were dashed when only Mel C and Mel B could make the nuptials, dubbed the ‘wedding of the decade’.

Brooklyn has already said he is ready to become a dad, despite only turning 24 earlier this month.
And while Nicola is coming round to the idea of them being parents, she still has her mind firmly focused on her career.
She admitted she plans to “get right back to work” after having a baby as she doesn’t want to miss out on any opportunities.

Singer Selena, now 30, was forced to deny reports she had ever dated Brooklyn.
It came after he reportedly split up with ex-girlfriend Chloe Grace Moretz because he had a crush on Selena.
A more likely scenario for them all hanging out together now is Selena is said to have grown close to Nicola’s brother, Brad. That and the fact her and Nicola are big time BFF’s.
Asked if Brooklyn gets on with Selena, Nicola joked: “Oh my god. We’re like ‘Yeah, we’re a throuple’. We’re all three best friends.”
She revealed she and Selena had been close since attending an event in September and “just clicked” – even calling her “my soul sister”.
