Paddy will continue to struggle on Emmerdale next week, despite making up with Marlon.
Marlon is keen to shelf his birthday celebration plans after the pair fell out, but with a little encouragement from Mandy, Paddy manages to make things right with his friend and rushes over to tell him what he means to him.
The pair soon see the error of their ways, and quickly restore their friendship to normal. Paddy holds Marlon as if he'll never let him go, whilst he is sure that their friendship is the best birthday gift he could ever have after a tough few weeks.
Chas and Paddy have a civil conversationThe next day, Paddy is grateful to return to work after Rhona expresses her trust in him, whilst Paddy makes plans to move out. He and Chas have a civil conversation about how they could break the news to Eve that Paddy is moving out.
Liam, clearly worried about how it might affect Paddy if he leaves the village, he offers that he can move in with him. Paddy is thrilled by it all but when Bear moves in too unannounced, does Liam regret his offer?

However, Paddy's struggles continue and his friends are all there to support him through it.
Emmerdale star Dominic Brunt previously opened up about how his character's future will play out, and vowed that the important storyline would feature lots of lightness too and won't be a "misery fest".
Bear and Paddy move in with Liam"He's opened the door to it [suicide thoughts] now he's capable of having those thoughts, he’s capable of attempting to take his own life. He’s going to have to watch that now for the rest of his life and thankfully, the story isn't dropped like that, there'll be hints hopefully forever that he's capable of that," he told The Mirror recently.
"But there's also a lot of light as well. I think what Emmerdale do, brilliantly time and time again is, it's not a misery fest. It's not this dark storyline that's awful to watch. It's really well coloured in with the pace and even two blocks later, there's little pinches of light - he’s found his humour again but, at the same time, he has to watch himself."
As Paddy struggles, the men of Emmerdale held a lock-in to share their own mental health struggles, where Dr Liam Cavanagh admitted to his own negative thoughts when he struggled himself in the past.
