Graham Potter's reign at Chelsea finally appears to be on track after picking up a third successive win at Leicester on Saturday, with Kai Havertz starring.

Like many in Potter's side, Havertz has struggled for much of the Englishman's time in charge, scoring just four Premier League goals under him. Having netted against the Foxes, the German has opened up on the difficulties he has faced this term.

Havertz's admission comes as the Blues suffered a blow to their hopes of securing Joao Felix on a permanent deal and talks over a potential move for Neymar broke down. Here, Mirror Football rounds up the latest Chelsea news.

Todd Boehly's attempts to bring Neymar to Chelsea have failed, with the Brazilian keen to remain at PSG. Neymar, who has been ruled out for the rest of the season, has seen his future at the the club come under fresh scrutiny this season.

Blues owner Boehly recently flew out to Paris to hold talks with PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi. As part of those talks, the future of Neymar was discussed, with Boehly eyeing a move for the superstar.

Those hopes of signing him have been dashed though, with Neymar making it clear that he wants to spend the rest of his career in Paris. He is understood to have no desire to leave the Ligue 1 giants, with Boehly now forced to explore alternative targets.

Chelsea's summer transfer plans have taken a blow, with their pursuit of a permanent move for Joao Felix now on the backburner. That is the result of Roberto Firmino refusing to enter talks with other clubs ahead of his exit from Liverpool.

The striker will leave Anfield at the end of the campaign when his current contract come to an end. But the 31-year-old is holding off on entering into talks with any prospective suitors for the time being.

Atletico Madrid are thought to be one of the teams interested in signing him. The striker would likely come in to replace Felix, who Chelsea may be hoping to bring in permanently in the summer.

Havertz opens up on struggles

Kai Havertz has opened up on the "weeks and months" of struggles he and his family have faced. The attacker has struggled this season and admitted it has been a difficult campaign.

"Football is our life," said Havertz. "If you lose a game, of course you don’t have an easy life. I think everyone at home, especially my girlfriend, has had some tough weeks as well the last weeks and months.

"I think she is happy now again and so am I. If you have a bad day at work... you... I won’t say the word now but you don’t feel good. Football is a game where we have a lot of pressure on our shoulders."
