After treating herself to a jacket from PrettyLittleThing, one fashion lover couldn't believe her eyes after finding a set of car keys nestled in the pocket. Indignant shopper Calli was left appalled by the find, while others have since joked that she's "basically been gifted a car."

Calli, from Larbert, Scotland, allegedly made the surprising discovery shortly after receiving her recent PrettyLittleThing order and was left utterly horrified and repulsed by the implications.

She promptly took to Twitter to call the fast-fashion retailer out publicly, baffled by the possibility that the returned item hadn't even been checked over before being resold and sent out.

Tweeting directly at PrettyLittleThing, disgusted shopper Calli, who goes by the username @Calliedoylex, wrote: "Literally just received an order from PrettyLittleThing and someone's car key is actually in the pocket

"One, someone's clearly had this on? And two, they haven't even opened the return to check for anything, the jacket could've been damaged or anything."

Calli's jaw-dropping tweet has since gone viral, with her unexpected 'freebie' sparking a mix of outrage and amusement amongst her fellow Twitter users, some of whom teasingly congratulated her on now "owning an Audi".

One person chuckled: "That's so dirty but you've basically been gifted a car. You just need to go around the whole of the UK to find it."

Another laughed: "They're giving Audis away with their jackets!!! I'm gonna order two."

To the horror of many, a third person claimed: "I used to work for a company similar to this, and trust me they don't check returns at all. Most things you receive from them are worn (in the company I worked for someone received trousers with period blood in them)."

Others proceeded to share their own similar online shopping experiences, which included clothes "smothered with yoghurt", "stained boots", and a "used hair bobble".

PrettyLittleThing has since declined to comment on this alleged incident.
