Emmerdale spoiler sees Caleb haunt Amy with chilling custody battle warning

Emmerdale's Caleb Milligan (William Ash) has given Amy Wyatt another blow about her son's future after a tense week for the Dingles which saw Kyle's murder charge dropped.

Kyle had been on a pathway to young offenders unit after confessing to shooting his dad's Cain's arch rival Al Chapman to death last year.

But in a plot twist Kyle was off the hook when Cain's lawyer delivered the news that Al's death had been treated as a "tragic accident".

The news was a welcome relief to his mum Amy (Natalie Ann Jameson), who gushed: "It's over. It's actually over."

And although Kyle is no longer facing the brush with the law, his future is far from certain as a teaser clip for next week's episode shows Caleb is not going to fund Amy's custody battle.

In a door step showdown Amy confronts Caleb saying: "So much for doing everything you can to help Kylie?

Caleb replies: "Last I looked he wasn't going back to that secure unit, so I'd call that a win."

But Amy refuses to give up and probes him further, questioning if Cain had put him up to this, and why he's pulled the plug on funding her solicitor when he knows she can't afford it.

Caleb added: "Do you really think I'd fund you trying to take him away from my family?''

Although Amy strikes back: "You're forgetting I'm his mam, I'm not going to give up on him.

To which Caleb quips: "This time."

Caleb continues to lay into Amy telling her Kyle needs 'stability' although Amy barks back saying that's where the 'whole nightmare' began.

Amy has previously made her feeling known that she doesn't believe her son Kyle shouldn't be around Cain as that's where the trouble started.

But Caleb has the last word on the matter as he urges her to see it from Kyle's point of view telling her when he was in the secure unit and scared he would be imagining being back at home with Cain and Moria not her and Matty.
