Reality TV star Stephen Bear returned to court today for sentencing nearly three months after his trial, which found him guilty of voyeurism and two counts of disclosing private sexual photographs and films.

The Celebrity Big Brother winner, 33, uploaded footage of himself and Love Island star Georgia Harrison having sex in his back garden in 2020.

Harrison, who waived her right to anonymity in order to help other victims of these offences, was unaware that Bear had recorded them both having sex by using a CCTV camera which had been set up.

The video later appeared on a number of sites, including OnlyFans, prompting Georgia to contact Essex Police, whereby an investigation was carried out by Essex Police Domestic Abuse Investigation Team.

Bear was arrested in January 2021 on his birthday at Heathrow Airport following a trip to Dubai, and charged in May.

Voyeurism carries a two-year maximum prison sentence and disclosing private sexual images also carries a maximum two-year prison sentence.

Bear received 21 months in prison for sharing the video to Only Fans, with nine months for count one and six months for count two, to run concurrently. Count one is a voyeurism charge and count two regards sending the video on WhatsApp to someone.

On February 12, Bear breached his bail conditions after being found guilty, Ms Carey told the court.

Stephen Bear to appear in court at 11.30am

Stephen Bear is due to appear in Chelmsford Crown Court at 11.30am this morning for sentencing.

He was found guilty of voyeurism and two counts of disclosing private sexual photographs in December after sharing a private video of him having sex with his ex-girlfriend Georgia Harrison on his OnlyFans website.

Bear was originally due to be sentenced in January, but a judge granted time of a psychiatric report to be conducted on the reality TV star.

His defence barrister Gemma Rose said following a probation report, Bear should undergo a psychiatric assessment as those who have assessed him so far were "unable to formally diagnose" and that it would be "beneficial" to the court for a full assessment to be done.

She said: "The sentence should be adjourned for the wait to prepare this report. I realise the delay will cause stress and anxiety to all those involved in the proceedings, but it's in my submission the court have all the evidence available before it.

"The crown have cited Mr Bear's behaviour at trial and I believe a psychiatric report will provide some context."

Bear showed up to court for his trial every day in a rented Rolls Royce, with increasingly exaggerated outfits including a full suit, fur coats, cane and cigars.

Prosecuting barrister Jacqueline Carey KC told the court that the crown did not oppose delaying the sentence.
