The latest Fortnite crossover has arrived, bringing Rocky Balboa’s protégé Adonis Creed to the battle royale as a skin.

Fortnite is all about the timely crossovers. For instance, last year's Dragon Ball Super crossover was just in time for Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero’s release, and John Cena made his way into the game during last year’s WWE SummerSlam. Now, with Creed 3 releasing this Friday, March 3, a Fortnite Creed skin of Adonis Creed himself is making his debut in the game. It’s not just a skin either, we’ll be getting Fortnite Creed Quests too that will allow you to get some extra XP and the Creed’s Gloves Spray.

The Fortnite Creed skin comes as part of the Creed pack and will be available in the item shop on March 2, 2023 at 2pm GMT / 9am ET / 6am PT. The pack features Adonis Creed, four selectable styles, including two in which the boxer has bionic arms (sounds like Creed 3 goes to some wild places), a Heavy Bag Back Bling, Knockout Pick Pickaxe and Target Training Emote where you train with disembodied training mitts. Each of these items will likely be available to purchase separately or as part of a bundle for a reduced price.

The Creed series started in 2015 and features a retired Rocky Balboa training the son of his rival-turned-friend Apollo Creed. The first film proved popular enough that Creed has become a series of its own, no longer needing Sylvester Stallone to bring the star power. The first film was directed by Black Panther director Ryan Coogler who has returned to write the story for the third entry, which is directed by Creed himself, Michael B. Jordan.

Gonna fly now

Sadly, it’s just a Fortnite Creed skin for the main man himself for now, but this opens the door for Jonathan Majors’ Creed 3 character Damian Anderson to join the game, or even Rocky Balboa himself.

It feels like we’re rapidly approaching the point where there will be no one left to add to Fortnite. We have characters from TV, movies and games in the game, as well as real life celebrities getting the Fortnite skin treatment. There's even a crossover with Family Guy rumoured for Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2. What’s next Coronation Street characters? Creed? (the Christian rock band, not the boxer) Your own gran? Where does it end? Fortnite is the metaverse that someone like Mark Zuckerberg could only dream of.
