Those who love relaxing with their wax-melt burner will be thrilled by the release of Holly Willoughby's new fragrant wax melts, named '(borrowed from) A Love Story'. A brand new product from Holly's Wylde Moon lifestyle brand, these melts cost £11 for six, and are said to hold 'fragrance notes of fresh spring flowers and blossoms combined with citrus, musk, and amber'.

As per the Wylde Moon website, these sweet-smelling melts will 'calm and uplift' your spirits, all while evoking 'feelings of romance, trust, and love'. Some people however can't look at them without picturing a decidedly less-than-floral kitchen staple.

In a recent Instagram post, the This Morning presenter shared a soothing video of herself opening her moon-white, crescent-shaped wax melts, adding these to her burner before breathing in with a look of sheer tranquillity.

The caption of the video reads: "Welcome to our newest @wyldemoon home fragrance…(borrowed from) A Love Story. "A fresh, romantic scent that blends citrus top notes of Lemon, Cherry, and Apple, a floral heart of Rose, Freesia Cherry Blossom and Lily of the Valley, with a base of vanilla Amber and Cashmere Musk."

Holly continued: "Available as Waxing Moons Wax Melts, these powerful little (borrowed from) A Love Story crescents will embrace your home with a floral & citrus bouquet that won’t wilt."

As blissful as the aroma sounds, a number of people couldn't help but be reminded of a kitchen item with a far more pungent scent: garlic.

One person chuckled: "At first I thought it was garlic."

A second follower agreed: "Me too… that's where I've been going wrong then."

Others however simply couldn't wait to get their hands on the melts, which one follower described as 'simple but very beautiful'.

Another enthused: "I know they're going to smell amazing".

A third wrote: "Looking forward to mine arriving tomorrow."

Fortunately - or disappointingly depending on where you stand on the distinct cooking smell - Holly's new melts don't smell like garlic, and are instead inspired by 'ancient floral symbolism'.

As per the website, the chosen fragrance notes were those 'that made us feel warm, loved, and hopeful', culminating in a 'delicate floral and citrus bouquet'.
