Manchester United have less than a week to go to add to their squad with the end of the January transfer window rapidly closing in.

The Red Devils have already been hard at work during the winter window with the loan additions of Jack Butland and Wout Weghorst. With his side firmly embroiled in the battle to finish in the top four, there could yet be further additions.

A number of players continue to be linked with a switch to Old Trafford ahead of next week’s deadline although whether the Red Devils can seal swoops for those, it remains to be seen. With that being said, take a look at the latest rumours coming out of Old Trafford over the last 24 hours.

Conte issues Kane warning

Antonio Conte has warned Harry Kane that he can still match his ambitions with Tottenham despite being linked with a switch to Man Utd. Previous reports suggested that the Red Devils had prioritised a move for the England captain.

Speaking after Spurs’ victory against Fulham on Monday, Conte said: “We are talking about a player that has a fantastic ability and good experience.

"For sure, I would like to help him and his teammates to do something important, to win something with Tottenham because he loves Tottenham in his heart. And it should be good if together we were able to win something. It’s important to have this record but it could be more important if he could have a trophy. We have to be dreamers.”

Man Utd make Evanilson decision amid injury

Man Utd have reportedly cooled their interest in Porto star Evanilson after the Brazilian suffered a long-term injury. The Red Devils were interested in a move for the forward in the summer with reports in Portugal suggesting that they were interested in lodging a €70m (£61m) bid for his services.

He has since suffered a serious knee injury though and as a result, the Red Devils are no longer interested in a move for him according to Correio da Manha. The 23-year-old scored 21 goals last season and had eight to his name this term in all competitions before his injury.

Red Devils offered Zaniolo

One solution to the Red Devils’ attacking headache could potentially be Roma forward Nicolo Zaniolo. It appears that the Italian is set to leave the Stadio Olimpico before the end of the transfer window with United seemingly in the running.

As per Area Napoli, the Red Devils have been offered the chance to sign him, whilst Premier League rivals Spurs are also in the running. It is suggested that Zaniolo is interested in a switch to England, with his preference being a move to North London.
