Driver crashes after shouting abuse at Nigel Farage during Clacton campaign

This is the moment a heckler crashes their car after shouting “w****r” out the window at Nigel Farage.

Footage of the incident was shared online by the Reform UK leader after the driver leaned out of their car to hurl abuse at him.

In the video, Mr Farage and some of his colleagues can be seen standing on the pavement at the side of the road.

A grey Vauxhall Astra then drives past the group and a person leans from the window.

The driver turns their attention to Mr Farage as they pass him and shouts “w****r” out of the window.

With their eyes off the road, the driver fails to spot the traffic lights turning red in front of them.

The driver of the car in front does spot the lights however and brings their motor to a halt.

The motorist in the grey Astra slams on their brakes in a desperate bid to avoid a collision.

They are too slow however and the grey car careens into the back of the car stopped at the lights.

A loud crunch can be heard as the two motors collide.

Shocked, Mr Farage and his team turn to look at the smash as the passenger in the grey motor is seen raising their hand.

Mr Farage can then be heard exclaiming: “She won’t be doing that again in a hurry” as he laughs with his colleagues.

The footage is believed to have been shot near Clacton, where Mr Farage is currently campaigning.

The politician shared the clip to social media with the caption: “This lady shouted abuse at me and then crashed her own car.

“That’s what you might call instant karma!”

The footage has been widely shared online by Reform UK MPs, including Robert Jenrick.

Mr Farage will soon face Count Binface in the Clacton by-election after stunning Westminster by quitting as an MP on July 7.

Farage is fighting to reclaim his own Essex seat in a self-proclaimed battle of “the people versus the establishment.”

But with the big parties staying out of it, the contest has become one of the most unusual and unpredictable in modern British politics.

The Clacton contest will take place on Thursday, August 13.

It remains unclear if anyone was injured during the incident.
