British remigration activist attacked during Manchester street debate

A British ‘remigration’ activist was giving a public debate on colonization when he was allegedly attacked from behind.

Two youths and one person in their 20s have been arrested on suspicion of robbery and assault in central Manchester.

Thomas Moffitt, known as Young Bob, was sitting at a Charlie Kirk-esque ‘Change my mind’ stand.

He was debating colonialism and how subjects of the British Empire didn’t necessarily mean they were welcome in the UK under the banner ‘Reform should be more radical’.

He turns around and tells a gathering mob, ‘All of you who throw water are cowards, you don’t actually want to fight for what you believe in.’

One of the youths yells back: ‘I’ll fight you b****’.

The activist is a proponent of far-right remigration policy which wants to forcibly send immigrants and even their descendants back to their country of origin.

He continues to debate the man who tells Young Bob to get a job and actually contribute to the country.

Mr Moffitt insists he was fired from McDonald’s for his political views.

He is then kicked on the floor and has his phone smashed, camera and banner stolen.

A group continues to attack him as he tries to get his equipment back, and he is forced into a fetal position to protect himself from the onslaught.

The older Black man, who had been debating with him about the benefits of immigration, is seen stepping in to protect Young Bob from further attacks.

The activist posted photos of his bruised face on X, claiming police told him it was ‘by far the most high-profile assault case they’ve seen’.

He added: ‘Both of the cameras I had on the day have been broken or stolen. My phone has been smashed. They stole some of my stand equipment, including a banner and a chair.’

He said he was going to organize a ‘team of lads’ for security and wanted to make a ‘stand on remigration’ in the exact same location.

‘This is England. I do not want to become a demographically replaced hellhole. What I saw that day was a group of migrant lads being egged on by left-wing agitators.’

A Greater Manchester Police spokesman said: ‘Officers were called to an incident on Market Street, Manchester yesterday at around 3.20pm following reports of a disturbance.

‘Upon arrival, officers spoke to a man in his 20s who reported he had been assaulted. He was treated at the scene for his injuries.

‘Three people, two juveniles and one person in their 20s, have been arrested on suspicion of robbery and assault. They remain in custody for questioning.’

Inspector Lee Ferguson added: ‘We are aware of videos being shared on social media of the incident, and we are continuing to review all available footage to identify those involved. If anyone has any information, please get in touch.’

Who is Young Bob?

The young activist has been held up by Elon Musk and Tommy Robinson as part of the remigration movement.

The Christian activist regularly appears on GB News and at demonstrations, trying to build a youth movement through debates and social media clips.

He was filming during the Southampton riots in the wake of Henry Nowak’s death – which helped identify many of the suspects to police later.

He regularly holds ‘Change my mind’ stands on abortion, transgenderism and migration.

He claims: ‘We’ve had bottles of urine chucked at us, glue chucked at us, cans of beans chucked in my face.

‘But we must continue the fight regardless of what country we’re in, because the West needs conservatism.

‘If I were… ever able to have the opportunity to speak to Erika [Kirk], I would firstly give huge admiration towards her husband on the formula and ideas that I [drew] great inspiration from’.
