Sarah Ferguson may no longer live with her ex-husband Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, but it is believed she will never cut off all contact with him. Since losing their Royal Lodge home, which they lived in together earlier this year due to scandals surrounding the Epstein Files, the pair seem to have gone their separate ways.

While Andrew has relocated to Norfolk, where he lives at Marsh Farm on the King’s Sandringham Estate, Sarah has reportedly been moving from place to place. It is believed the last place she was known to have stayed was in a chalet in Austria. Although many viewed the fact that they no longer live together as a sign that the friendship they maintained after their 1996 divorce had faded, it seems this is not the case.

This is because, according to one royal expert, Sarah would never completely cut off contact with Andrew, regardless of the scandals surrounding him. It is important to note Andrew has always denied any accusations and wrongdoing.

Speaking to The Mirror, royal author Ingrid Seward explained: "I think she is in contact with Andrew and I don’t think she’d want to leave him high and dry.

“And also, he is the father of her children. And to him, she’s the mother of the children.

“He’s always seen her like that. He always saw her as the mother of his children and therefore she was the most important woman in his life, so of course she’s in contact with him."

Both Andrew and Sarah have been caught up in various scandals over the last eight months, and some longer, surrounding the Epstein Files.

While appearing in the Epstein Files alone does not indicate wrongdoing, various documents have shown how Andrew and Sarah, both 66, kept in touch with the late convicted pedophile even after he was convicted for child sex offenses.
They both deny any wrongdoing and have previously claimed they regretted their association with Epstein.

However, the scandals have severely damaged their reputation, with the divorced couple losing their York titles and the Windsor mansion they shared.
