Scotland’s busiest railway station is closed all day after a building near Glasgow Central Station partially collapsed in Glasgow city centre on Sunday night.
Emergency services were called to Glasgow city centre last night after a fire broke out in a building on Union Street.
The fire has sparked chaos for rail passengers and drivers and brought Scotland’s biggest city to a standstill.
The blaze started in a vape shop on Union Street on Sunday afternoon with the B-listed Victorian building collapsing several hours later.
All train services at Glasgow Central have been cancelled until at least the end of Monday.
Sadly the building has now partially collapsed. I hope the fire can be contained. The corner of the Forsyth Building, as well as the Caledonian Chambers and Central Hotel seem unaffected.

National Rail said there was "no estimate on when the station will reopen".
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: "Firefighters are still dealing with a significant incident at a commercial building on Union Street, Glasgow.
At its height, 18 appliances and specialist resources, including three high-reach vehicles, were mobilised to the scene.
People should avoid the area where possible and those living close by are advised to keep their windows closed as a precaution.
"Firefighters were mobilised at 3:46 pm on Sunday, 8 March, to reports of a fire on the ground floor of a four-storey building.
"Operations remain ongoing and there have been no reports of casualties."
