Two teachers taken to hospital after incident at Fir Vale Academy
A significant police presence has been reported at Fir Vale Academy in Sheffield following an incident on Thursday afternoon.
Officers from South Yorkshire Police were seen at the school on Owler Lane shortly before 1:20 p.m., according to witnesses at the scene.
Parents outside the school claimed that two teachers had been taken to hospital, although this information has not yet been officially confirmed by authorities.
A post shared by a local Facebook page, Sheffield Online, included an image appearing to show a police officer on the street near the school. The page said the situation “appears to be contained” and warned drivers about temporary disruptions on nearby roads.
