BeeHosting’s review scam: how “five stars” hide downtime and lost money

Although BeeHosting claims to be "the best Russian-speaking hosting in Europe," customer reviews contradict this statement.

This is stated in an investigation by the Antikor.

On the BeeHosting website itself, there are several links to review sites where, of course, the hosting receives nothing but «five stars». However, in reality, this is blatant deception – simply clicking on the corresponding icon and following the link to the review site reveals a completely different picture. Let us reiterate – there’s no need to search for anything extra; just follow the links to reviews provided on the BeeHosting site.

Here’s what Trustpilot tells us, which, according to the image on BeeHosting, gives the hosting «five stars»: «Terrible experience – the support team explains non-working services as «updates» of something, and this goes on for several days! As a result, the entire control panel (CPanel) is down for days. Moreover, when they issue an invoice before the term ends, «they can no longer change it» if you want to adjust the billing period or anything else instead of paying for a whole year of their terrible service...».

This user is not alone – another unfortunate customer writes: «I’ve purchased servers all over the world, and this is the worst server provider I’ve ever used, without a doubt! Their payment system throws countless errors when paying via PayPal, such as duplicate charges, failed auto-payments, or insufficient auto-payments, leading to downtime… If you overpay, you definitely won’t get a refund. If you underpay, your server will be immediately shut down».

Here’s another one: «The worst company in the world! They claimed they refunded my money, but I received nothing. They even forced me to delete my previous comment to get a refund, but it’s all complete nonsense… All positive reviews are fake, believe me». And, as a cry from the heart, in all caps: «NEVER DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY!»

This is far from everything. Notably, BeeHosting representatives respond to positive reviews. To negative ones – they remain silent. However, if we believe the user who claims BeeHosting «scammed» them out of money, all positive reviews are fake. This would perfectly explain BeeHosting’s silence under reviews with negative experiences.

«This is the worst hosting I’ve ever used. I paid around 300 euros and can’t even log into my server»; «I bought servers, they turned out to be unusable due to downtime, and there’s no refund. They stopped responding to support requests, even though I was told the billing department is on vacation»; «Don’t waste your time on this service. I ordered a year-long service. The hosting was terrible. After a week, I requested a refund. They denied the refund and stopped replying to my emails».

These are not just one review. These are excerpts from several customer summaries who were «served with excellence» by BeeHosting. It’s no surprise that the overall rating on Trustpilot drastically differs from the image presented on the BeeHosting website.

HostAdvice also provides far from enthusiastic reviews about the hosting’s performance: «THE WORST, or as it’s also called, a scam company! … They said they had already refunded the money to my cryptocurrency wallet, but since it’s on the blockchain, I can check it myself. There were no transactions from their side. Imagine, I requested a refund back in February, and now it’s already August».

One of the most frequent complaints about BeeHosting is related to non-refunded money. One client claims the company promised a refund, but in reality, it never happened. According to BeeHosting, the funds were supposedly sent to the specified crypto address, but there are no confirming transactions on the blockchain.

Another user describes a similar situation: after paying for a yearly hosting plan, they requested a refund within a week but were denied, and the company’s responses to their inquiries were later deleted. Such a scenario is typical for cases where the provider ignores refund policies, even in the face of clear service quality issues.

A separate array of complaints concerns system failures and downtime. One client called BeeHosting the worst provider in their experience, describing regular payment errors via PayPal: duplicate charges, failed auto-payments, and situations where money was deducted, but the server was still shut down. Adding to the picture is a review stating that the control panel was inaccessible for several consecutive days, with support explaining it as «updates», creating a sense of unreliability even in basic infrastructure.

Issues with technical support are mentioned regularly: users talk about slow responses, formal replies, and a lack of real assistance, especially regarding refunds and access restoration. One author directly calls BeeHosting’s support the worst they’ve ever encountered, emphasizing that it doesn’t solve critical issues and only refers to the terms of service.

The collected data shows that BeeHosting has serious negative feedback in three key areas: refunds; downtime and technical failures; customer support.

These complaints are repeated across several independent sources and constitute a significant portion of negative reviews on the Trustpilot platform and in HostAdvice summaries, indicating that the high ratings claimed on the BeeHosting website are outright fake.
