Travellers in Wales have been advised to prepare for hours of disruptions to trains after a vehicle struck a bridge.

The incident, which took place in the Cwmbran area, necessitates urgent repairs on the bridge. Consequently, all lines are blocked between Newport South Wales and Hereford.

Transport for Wales stated: "Train services running through these stations will be cancelled. Disruption is expected until 13:00 on 09/11."
