Qatar and UK sign defense security guarantee during high-level meeting

Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of State for Defense Affairs HE Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al Thani met with UK Secretary of State for Defense HE John Healy and his accompanying delegation during their visit to the State of Qatar.

The two sides discussed topics of mutual interest and explored ways to enhance and develop them.

During the meeting, the defense security guarantee was also signed, with the Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of State for Defense Affairs signing on behalf of the Qatari side, and the UK Secretary of State for Defense signing on behalf of the British side.

A number of senior officers and officials from both sides attended the meeting.
