Unclaimed lotto jackpots worth £12.6 million waiting for UK winners

There are two new millionaires in the UK who aren’t aware of it as they haven’t yet come forward to claim their winnings.

Two people have won the Lotto jackpot after matching all six main numbers during the October 4 and October 8 draws.

But neither winner has come forward yet—and they only have 180 days from the date of the win to claim their massive prize.

Last Saturday (October 4) a single ticketholder won a massive £10.6 million jackpot. They matched all six winning numbers, which were 06, 08, 12, 33, 49, and 59.

Then on Wednesday (October 8) another single ticketholder claimed the jackpot worth £2 million, matching all six winning numbers: 02, 21, 42, 48, 56, and 57.

Saturday’s winning ticket was purchased in retail, it’s now been confirmed, so players who bought physical tickets for the draw are being urged to check if they’re the lucky winner.

The method of play for Wednesday’s win hasn’t been released yet—National Lottery operator Allwyn says they will release this detail if the prize is still unclaimed next week.

Andy Carter, senior winners’ advisor at Allwyn, said: ‘We urge Lotto players to check their tickets in case they are one of our would-be multi-millionaires.

‘Check your bags, coat pockets—down the back of the sofa even—as the lucky tickets are out there!

‘Landing either of these jackpots will change lives and I look forward to meeting our lucky winners and paying out their incredible prizes in the run up to Christmas!’

It’s been a lucky couple of weeks for UK National Lottery players as a EuroMillions draw last week saw one ticket-holder take home the £26 million jackpot.

In July, a family from Cork won the largest EuroMillions prize in Ireland’s history taking home a massive £216,000,000.

It seems this part of Ireland contains all of the lucky tickets after a family from County Cork bagged £208 million in June.
