Jacob Ryan, aged 28, is being sought by the police following the blast that occurred on Southfield Lane on Saturday. Emergency services rushed to the empty property at around 10:10 pm after reports of an explosion.

West Yorkshire Police confirmed that a man, woman, and a boy from a nearby house were hospitalized with minor injuries. Superintendent Lucy Leadbeater of Bradford District Police, said: “Several inquiries are ongoing into this serious incident today. While the cause of the explosion at this empty property remains under investigation, we are looking into reports of a metal theft occurring there just before the incident.

“One man, arrested on suspicion of involvement in the theft, was seriously injured, and we are trying to locate a second man, whom we can name as Jacob Ryan, in connection with the theft offense.

“It’s possible Jacob may have been injured as well, and we urge him or anyone who knows him to come forward. It’s important that we ensure he has access to any medical treatment he may need.
