Kim Kardashian sparks social media frenzy after buying Princess Diana's necklace
Kim Kardashian has become the target of a social media frenzy after purchasing Princess Diana's necklace for $197k.
The mum-of-four bought the iconic amethyst and diamond cross necklace at Sotherby's auction but has since become the focus of multiple memes, with tweets starting with " Kim Kardashian has purchased..."
One in particular has been a hit with fans which called out Hilaria Baldwin 's fake heritage scandal from 2021 as it said: "Kim Kardashian has purchased Hilaria Baldwin's fake Spanish accent for $97,600."
Back in 2021, several of Hilaria's former classmates came forward to confirm that she was raised in Weston, Massachusetts, by American parents and didn't have a foreign accent.

Multiple clip of Hilaria's past TV appearances then resurfaced showing her Spanish accent.
In one particular video from the Today Show, Hilaria appeared to forget the English word for cucumber.

Several other funny memes came out of Kim's purchase, with one referencing Game Of Thrones as it mentioed the character potrayed by Milly Alcock and Emma D'Arcy.
It said: "Kim Kardashian has purchased Rhaenyra Targaryens Crown for $500k, TMZ reports."
Another tweet said: "Kim Kardashian has purchased Nicki Minaj's iconic pink chicken wing necklace for $375,000, TMZ reports."

"Kim Kardashian has purchased Cinderella’s iconic glass slipper for reportedly $67.8 Million, TMZ reports," one said.
Another brought up the iconic blue and black dress meme, saying: "Kim Kardashian has purchased the iconic ‘is it blue and black or gold and white dress’ for reportedly 300,000, TMZ reports."
