Aggressive customer starts fight in McDonald’s kitchen in London

This is the moment a McDonald’s customer jumped over the counter and attacked staff members.

The angry client lost his rag at the fast food chain’s restaurant in Acton, west London.

A clip of the incident shows the irate man appearing to throw an object at one of the servers, before climbing over the counter and running into the kitchen.

Another member of staff was seen trying to break up the row as two men start lunging at each other.

Customers were left watching the worsening spectacle as one man was wrestled to the floor.

The two McDonald’s workers eventually tugged the customer away after grabbing him by the shirt.

A female customer was also heard asking a nearby delivery driver to intervene.

Online users were quick to blame witnesses for bystanding and doing nothing to ease the ensuing altercation.

‘Such a shame. Most just watched and nobody helped,’ one wrote.

A spokesperson for McDonalds said: ‘The safety and security of our people and our customers is our utmost priority it is completely unacceptable to see anyone behaving this way.

‘We have a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to violent and anti-social behaviour, and we are currently assisting the police with their enquiries.’

Anti-social behaviour accounts for more than 20 per cent of all crimes reported in London, according to Plumplot, compared to 15.9 per cent for the whole of England and Wales.

The borough of Ealing, which includes Acton, is one of the worst hit areas of the capital, with police data showing a total of 10,076 instances of ASB reported in 2022.
