A teenager has been killed in an electric motorbike crash in Northumbria.
The 19-year-old man was riding an electric off-road e-bike when he suddenly crashed yesterday afternoon.
The emergency crews rushed to the scene near Moorland Avenue in Bedlington at about 3pm.
They found the young man seriously hurt after the crash involving his black and red Talaria e-bike.
Despite their best efforts, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after.

His family has been informed and they are being supported by specialist teams.
Crash investigators have urged anyone who witnessed the collision to come forward.
Sergeant Christopher Herron, from Northumbria Police’s roads unit, said: ‘This is a tragic incident, and our thoughts remain with the family and friends of the young man who has sadly passed away.
‘Our specialist officers will continue to offer them any support they may need.’
People reacted to the tragic news on social media.
One family friend said: ‘Knowing the family very well he was a lovely lad and has left behind a beautiful family please if anyone has any correct information please get in touch this is heartbreaking.’
A driver who was at the scene said: ‘I passed what must have been seconds after it happened and another man in front of me jumped out of his car.
‘I’m so sad to hear this is what happened. I knew it must have been something awful as there were two people looking frantic.’
Another person said: ‘That’s so sad. His whole life ahead of him. His poor family.’
