Unreleased Beyoncé music and tour footage stolen from team members’ car in Atlanta

In Atlanta, Georgia, during Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter tour, flash drives containing unreleased music, concert footage, and past and future setlists were stolen from the vehicles of her team members.

According to reports, the suspected theft took place less than 48 hours before Beyoncé was scheduled to open a four-show residency at the city’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Choreographer Christopher Grant and one of the tour’s dancers, D’Andre Blue, told police that their vehicle had been broken into and multiple items were stolen.

An Atlanta Police Department spokesperson confirmed the break-in occurred shortly after 8:00 p.m. in a parking garage on Krog Street. According to the police report, Grant and Blue said they had parked their rented black Jeep Wagoneer around 8:09 p.m. Upon returning, they found the rear window broken and two suitcases missing.

Grant stated the suitcases contained “personal and confidential information belonging to Beyoncé”, including hard drives with upcoming concert material, watermarked and unreleased music, and detailed setlists.

In addition, clothing, designer sunglasses, laptops, and a pair of headphones were also stolen. Police used Apple’s "Find My" feature to track the location of the stolen headphones, which led investigators to a potential suspect location.

Fingerprints were collected from the scene, and surveillance footage from the garage was reviewed. Among the suspects are individuals whose vehicles were parked nearby and followed the same route as the tracked devices. The investigation is ongoing.
