Remains of missing man found near Taylor Swift’s mansion in the US
Human remains have been discovered in the coastal Watch Hill area of Westerly, Rhode Island (USA), not far from the estate of American singer Taylor Swift.
A portion of a human leg washed ashore and was spotted by local residents.
Police have confirmed that the remains belong to 31-year-old Eric Vine of Massachusetts, whose disappearance was reported on April 18. The Rhode Island Office of the Medical Examiner is conducting further investigation.
Reports indicate that Vine’s vehicle had been seen illegally parked in South Kingstown as early as April 10 — eight days before he was officially declared missing.
Eric Vine’s body was discovered roughly three weeks after the body of another, unidentified man was found in the Seekonk River in the city of Pawtucket, Rhode Island. The distance between the two locations is approximately 48 miles.
The timing and proximity of these incidents have raised concerns among local residents, with some beginning to speculate about the possibility of a serial killer in the region. However, police have stated that they see no signs of foul play in Vine’s death.
