Over 90 killed in Gaza in two days due to Israeli airstrikes

More than 90 people have been killed by Israeli strikes on Gaza in the last 48 hours, the region’s health ministry has reported.

It comes as Israel continues to intensify its attacks on Gaza, with the United Nations raising concerns over the lack of food and medical aid being allowed into the region by the IDF.

Israel’s ceasefire with Hamas collapsed last month, seeing its military renew its bombardment, killing hundreds of people and seizing large parts of the territory to pressure the militants to accept changes to the agreement.

At least 23 people were killed by Israeli strikes into Gaza in the early hours of Thursday morning, including a family of 10 and a photo journalist recently accepted into the Cannes Film Festival.
