Trump was accidentally hit in the face by a microphone

A White House press pool journalist accidentally poked U.S. President Donald Trump in the face with a microphone.

He initially expressed his displeasure but then joked that she had "made history."

The video of the incident quickly went viral. As seen in the footage, the journalist from the news channel accidentally slapped Trump in the face with the microphone while he was listening to a question from another reporter about the Gaza Strip.

The journalist immediately apologized, but the U.S. president gave her an annoyed look.

However, after hearing the question about Gaza, Trump lightened the mood, laughing and saying that his "assailant" had made history today.
