Liverpool and Manchester City go head-to-head in a gigantic match at the top of the Premier League on Sunday.

After losing at Arsenal last month, the Reds have since won their last four matches, while City have not lost in the league since early December when they were beaten at Aston Villa. A win for either team would see them top of the table with Pep Guardiola's side going into the game trailing Liverpool by just a single point.

Both dropped a place in the league table on Saturday evening, however, after Arsenal moved to the top of the Premier League following their dramatic 2-1 win over Brentford. The Gunners now have won eight successive top-flight matches and will fancy their chances of pipping Liverpool and City to the title.

But the Arsenal fans, players and staff will be keeping a close eye on events at Anfield as Liverpool and City both go in search of three important points in their Premier League title bid.

What time is Liverpool vs Manchester City?

Team news

Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate is fighting to be fit and available to face Manchester City after being taken off during the Reds' 5-1 win over Sparta Prague on Thursday. "Yeah, fresh, Joe [Gomez] is fine - Ibou, I don't know," Klopp said on Friday.

"Ibou was rather positive last night [Thursday], he thought he made the right decision in the right moment saying it's better I go [off]. But how we know, that doesn't mean a lot unfortunately. He will get scanned, definitely, [but] so far I don't have the results of that. All the others are fine."

Mohamed Salah could start after coming off the bench for his return in Prague, while Trent Alexander-Arnold, Alisson Becker, Stefan Bajcetic, Ben Doak, Ryan Gravenberch, Curtis Jones, Diogo Jota, Joel Matip and Thiago Alcantara remain out injured.

As for City, Guardiola is unsure whether he will be able to call on Jeremy Doku or Jack Grealish, while Matheus Nunes was substituted against Copenhagen on Wednesday after dislocating his finger.

"We have a day off today - tomorrow we are training, and we will see how they feel," Guardiola said on Friday. "We played three days after [the Manchester derby] and we have qualified for the Champions League. Yesterday morning we started to think about Liverpool."
