A new Netflix series has sent fans into hysteria over its raunchiest-ever programme.
Supersex, which tells the story of Rocco Siffredi has launched on the streaming service, showcasing a fictional biographical drama of the Italian porn star. But viewers have claimed that the show is even racier than the trailer – if that was even possible. Rocco, 59, has an eye-watering credits rack-up of over 1,300 adult movies.
But away from being in on the action, he can also be found behind the cameras working as a director and producer. The new series, created by Francesca Manieri, tells the story of how he "escaped a humble life and emerged as the world’s greatest porn star." Outlets have branded the series as a "hybrid between a melodrama and a coming-of-age story."
Actor Alessandro Borghi plays legendary adult film star Rocco Sifredi in the new Netflix drama (Netflix)Since the show aired, fans have shared their views, with some claiming there are "40 or 50 boundary-pushing sex scenes" in the drama. "Honestly, I'm shocked by Borghi's skill. IT IS THE SAME as Rocco. The expressions, the laughter, the voice," said one fan of Alessandro Borghi's portrayal of 'The Italian Stallion'.
Another penned: "In life you are either rich or you are Rocco or you are Alessandro Borghi. #supersex." "Supersex starts off great! Rocco Siffredi yes, who is a worthy representative of Abruzzo," said another. Meanwhile, a fourth viewer penned: "his series is driving me crazy, Alessandro Borghi confirms himself as a great actor and if I already loved him now I venerate him... #supersex."

The drama has 'boundary-pushing' scenes (Netflix)While many believed that Alessandro may have used a prosthetic penis for the totally nude scenes, in a recent interview he said: "The most frequent joke? They ask me 'Is this your thing?' and I proudly say yes!" Speaking about filming the series, Borghi said: "It was funny because the first couple of weeks we were all a little uneasy, and then the third week we stood there naked looking at scenes on the monitor. So something must have worked."
One scene shows Siffredi (Borghi) engaging in "rough sex in front of a throng of cheering journalists and fans", after an aspiring actress asked for help breaking into the adult industry. Siffredi eventually retired from the lucrative industry in 2004 before making a return just five years later.
But back in 2022, he made the decision to hang up his boots once again. Speaking to Variety about the series, creator Manieri said: "Rocco Siffredi is an emblem, he’s an icon, he is the cock of the Western culture. My goal was to put men in front of themselves. This is what we call the phallocentric system, the system in which the d*** is the centrum of the thought before everything."
