Bourland was covering up as Paul unloaded a flurry a punches and the referee was taking a close look at the 35-year-old. Bourland fell to his knees just as the referee stepped in, awarding Paul the first round knockout win. “I wanted it to be a little bit longer to give the fans more time but I’m just so happy to be here," Paul said after his win.

"If you’re not first you're last, a little bit of shake and bake, dodged his little punches and put his sorry a** on the floor. That’s how we do it from Ohio. This guy has 19 fights and is super experienced, so I guess we’ve just got to step it up even more. I’m ready for the big leagues, I’m getting sharp and boxing is my life."
